How to Buy Quality SEO ServicesDo Not Settle for SEO on the basis of price alone. Sometimes Cheap Can Be Expensive |

A buyer sent me a proposal asking me to carry out SEO on 3 or 4 websites that he owned for which he was willing to pay $500. Since I feel uncomfortable working with people who send such vague offers, I declined the invitation but did manage to get an article out of it. Just like people get poems out of their heart breaks I managed to get an article out of a heart breaking business proposals. Jokes apart, before you and I even realize, the job would have gone to some SEO.
I fail to understand why does everyone blame and backlash SEOs for a job gone bad? The market is brimming with buyers who want to pay too little and quote ridiculously low prices for getting their sites SEOed. The buyers actually get what they are willing to pay for. Business proposals based on half knowledge reflect upon the ignorance on the part of a buyer. If some SEOs respond to such offers, whose fault is it? Its actually the buyer throwing opportunities at the SEOs to perform sub standard jobs on his/her site. There is no point in blaming an optimizer alone for carrying out a sub-standard job. When such buyers receive responses from several SEOs who are willing to work on a 25 page site for $300 they think they have struck a deal. What they don't realize is that sooner or later (depending on when they wake up to the reality) they will have to look for an optimizer who provides expert SEO services and knows how to deliver a perfect job and that such a professional would come for a price. Had the buyer been more aware and hired services of a SEO with a good record right when he was starting out on the project, he would probably have spent the same amount of money and may have saved a lot of time. The site by now would have had so much to show for it in terms of good search engine positioning or traffic or both. Buyer awareness, therefore is an extremely important aspect of SEO. When you set out to buy anything - from stock, to camera, to sausages, to a SUV, don’t you get a rough idea about how much it costs before paying for it? Or do you, before stepping out of the house, assume your own price and go looking for your item for that price? If your answer is – 'No, it doesn’t work like that”, then why do you think it will work when you are shopping for SEO services? Quality in every field means the same thing. And it comes with a price tag. What a buyer should do is look beyond the pricing. He should focus on the results & returns because that is where his profits lie. The more traffic his website generates, the more conversions are likely to come by, more word of mouth publicity, credibility and so on and so forth….. If you have a website on which you need to perform SEO, but would like to have an assessment of the site before you go ahead and spend that money, feel free to send me an email on info@seoexpert-services.com. I will send you an assessment summary of your website as soon as I can. HEre's wishing all website owners all the very best with their sites.
