Why Is SEO So Expensive?

SEO may not be a cheap option but the results you get with SEO are like no other. The returns eventually could exceed 1000%, provided you are doing the right things. If you think you cannot afford SEO  - does it mean you can afford to let your site be without SEO? 

Many people complain about the high cost of Search Engine Optimization. SEO in some cases (read highly competitive niche) can be a costly affair, but no one can change that – not as of now. Paid Placements & Paid Clicks do not make the job any easier or cheaper either.
But let me tell you that for small business companies SEO may not come as a high-dollar solution. The initial setup cost could be high.

Instead of debating and complaining about why SEO is so expensive, I’d suggest that website owners give SEO a try themselves so as to see what they can actually do on their own, and what actually goes into beating competition.

SEO includes Keyword phrase identification, Web design consultation, Web design consultation, HTML optimization, Site indexing, back link building, and Monitoring traffic. Sacrificing even one of these strategies, could jeopardize the effectiveness of all the others. And many SEO services sacrifice more than just one. You can’t expect so much in a $99 package.

Search engine optimization is an incredibly time-consuming task requiring specialized skills and an ongoing research to keep pace with the changing SEO landscape. 

The price tag could vastly differ from one SEO service company to the other. But then so could the outcome. It is for you to decide whether you are looking for effective SEO strategies or discounted solutions.

SEO offers low cost-per-acquisition and high return on investment. Research has proved that dollar for dollar, SEO is the best form of advertising, online and offline.

SEO is not seen as an optional form of marketing anymore, given that people turn to the web for solutions for everything.

My personal belief is that even if you find SEO expensive do something rather than nothing. When people get in touch with me, I try to help them understand the value of doing something as opposed to nothing which will make the next phase that much less costly and less time consuming, and will show them some results at the introductory level service. It somehow helps an aspiring website owner take some positive steps.
