Enough has already been written about title tags and yet there is always something to be reminded of, repeated, and emphasized upon. Title Tag will always remain one of the most important factors in achieving high search engine rankings. I have had many instances where tweaking title tags on web pages have brought instant recognition & improved the site’s rankings.

Another important reason to have an effective title tag is that since the words used in the title tag appear in the clickable link on the search engine results page, making them more catchy (convincing and sensible too) may result in giving you more click-throughs.

An ideal way to create title tags is after the copy on the page has been written & optimized. Choose the most relevant keyword phrases that the copy seems based on, and come up with a compelling title tag accordingly. If you're having trouble and can't seem to fathom what the most important phrases in the text are, you probably need to write the copy all over again.

It is absolutely okay to have name of your company as part of title tag. You can even place it at the beginning of the tag, more so, if your company is a recognized name in the area where your clientele comes from. Even otherwise company's name is title tag a good idea. A descriptive title tag is recommended and will enhance your brand as well as improve  SE ranking of your website. Keywords should form a part of your title tag.

Final point, don’t rake your brains to get that perfect title tag because perfection is after all a mere perception. The best thing to do would be to try different tags and see which rank higher and which convert better.
